Kitchen Dancers

Being a Kitchen Dancer is more a statement about where we are in our lives and where we tend to be truest to ourselves, in our kitchen.

Monthly Meetings

Our monthly meeting takes place at The Hundred Mens Hall, St Cross Hospital on the third week of the month alternatively, Monday and Tuesdays.

Caroline Brenton 1960 - 2007

Caroline was the original Kitchen Dancer and the inspiration for our group.  She was an excellent friend who had her kitchen designed for dancing.  We celebrate her life and that of all good woman when we met.

Do you want to join a vibrant and exciting WI group in Winchester?

Kitchen Dancers members enjoy the chance to socialise together as well as hearing the views or learning skills from our entertaining and thought-provoking speakers from bee-keeping to chocolate salami producers! We run monthly evening meetings alternating Mondays and Tuesdays, so that those who work can attend. Our aim is to provide a selection of events including a regular monthly Breakfast in Winchester, a monthly Book Club, a Summer Party, a January Supper to set us up for the year and when permitted, some outdoor activities.

If you just want to try us out, or if you want to bring a guest, we ask you to make a donation of £5.00 towards hall and speaker costs.
